As we approach the upcoming election cycle, it's time to redouble our efforts to reclaim the State of Illinois from a Democratic Governor and Democratic majorities in both the House and Senate.

YOU can help -- in fact, your help is of supreme importance, for without it, we fail and our organization becomes ineffective.

Please browse through our Web site. Make yourself aware of our candidates and elected officials, of our activities and local clubs. Then find a way to get involved! Look over our calendar of activities, volunteer, and donate funds. And don't forget to vote!

Chairman's Corner:

Now that we are beyond the 2008 primary election, it is time to begin to talk with our friends and neighbors about the Nov. 4 election and its importance to our county, state, and nation.

Rarely has our country found itself at such an idealistic crossroads. With so much of our future riding on the decisions we make at the polls, it is essential that we all inform ourselves about the candidates, their positions on critical issues, and how democracy demands our participation in the election process. War, the economy, the future of energy, as well as the continued existence of our freedoms under the assault of radical Islamic terrorists are questions that we all must demand answers to in order to make the correct decisions on Nov. 4.

Participation in the process is not only what separates the USA from most other countries, but it is also what has made our country the most successful form of liberty in the history of world civilizations.

Please join us and take an active part in the democratic process through education, participation, and commitment to the liberty and freedoms that we continue to enjoy because of the selfless sacrifice of generations before us.
